This is the true adventure of 12 yr old Leah Lauber. Five years ago, Leah experienced an incredible, once-in-a-lifetime adventure following the U.S. Women’s National Team during the 1999 Women’s World Cup, both as a fan and as a 12-year-old Junior Reporter for the St. Petersburg Times, Florida’s largest newspaper. With unlikely access for such a young soccer enthusiast, Leah met her heroes, interviewed them and witnessed sports’ history, up-close-and-personal. After her adventure, at the age of twelve, Leah wrote Soccer Dreams, a 92-page book, which we self-published and which has received many excellent reviews.
